Microbialito

Las microbialitas o microbialitos son estructuras organo-sedimentarias bentónicas formadas por la acreción, atrapamiento o precipitación mineral mediada por actividad microbiana.^[1] Los microbialitos también pueden definirse como tapetes microbianos con capacidad de litificación.^[2]
