Armeni (armenski: հայեր, hayer) etnička grupa su porijeklom s Armenske visoravni u jugozapadnoj Aziji.[26]

Armeni su većina u Armeniji i Nagornom Karabahu. Dijaspora od oko 5 miliona ljudi živi izvan Armenije. Većina njih živi u Rusiji, Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, Francuskoj, Gruziji, Iranu, Njemačkoj, Ukrajini, Libanu, Brazilu i Siriji. S izuzetkom Irana i bivših sovjetskih država, današnja armenska dijaspora nastala je nakon genocida nad Armenima.[27]

Većina Armenaca su pripadnici Armenske apostolske crkve. Kršćanstvo se počelo širiti u Armeniji ubrzo nakon Isusove smrti, i tako je početkom 4. vijeka Armenska kraljevina postala prva država koja je prihvatila kršćanstvo kao državnu religiju.[28]
