Spongin

Spongin (von griechisch Σπόγγος, Spongos = Schwamm) ist ein kollagenähnliches Strukturprotein. Spongin ist ein Proteinkomplex aus Kollagen-TypIV-verwandten Proteinen, die nur in Hornkieselschwämmen vorkommen.^[1]
