The 2024 Indian general election was held in Tamil Nadu on 19 April to elect 39 members of the 18th Lok Sabha.^[1] The election results were announced on 4 June 2024.^[2][3]

The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), led by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in the state and the Indian National Congress (INC) nationally, secured all the 39 seats—a second consecutive "sweeping" win for the alliance after the 2019 elections. The opposing National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the federal ruling party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), lost all the seats again. Whereas the Main opposition party in the state All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), lost the one seat (Theni) they had won when they were part of the NDA in the 2019.
