The 2025 Asia Cup will be the 17th edition of the men's Asia Cup cricket tournament. It is scheduled to take place in India in October 2025 with the matches to be played in T20I format. The tournament will serve as a crucial preparation for the teams that qualified for the 2026 T20 World Cup. India are the defending champions.[1]
The tournament will feature 6 teams. The five full members of the Asian Cricket Council; Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka automatically qualify for the tournament and they will be joined by United Arab Emirates, who qualified after winning the ACC Premier Cup.[2]
