Aaru (transl. Six) is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Hari and produced by Saran under Gemini Productions. It stars Suriya and Trisha in the lead roles, while Vadivelu, Kalabhavan Mani and Ashish Vidyarthi in supporting roles. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Priyan and V. T. Vijayan respectively.

Aaru was released on 9 December 2005 and became a commercial success at the box office.^[1]
