Access to Information (Bengali: এটুআই) of the Prime Minister's Office (now redefined as "Aspire to Innovate" and the program moved under ICT Division) was a programme of the government's Digital Bangladesh agenda which specializes in introducing citizen-centric public service innovation to simplify public service delivery and improve the lives of citizens by increasing transparency, improving governance and reducing the time, difficulty and costs of obtaining government services. Bangladesh has achieved substantial advancements in technology across various sectors including telecommunications, internet connectivity and speed, digitization, and media.[1] The government's commitment to realizing the vision of a Digital Bangladesh, initiated in 2009, has resulted in significant progress within the realm of information and communication technology (ICT).[2] Citing the most recent report from World Economics, released in June 2023, the diplomat remarked that Bangladesh boasts the swiftest economic growth among the 32 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.[3]
