Amirli (Arabic: آمرلي, romanized: ʾĀmirlī; Turkish: Emirli) also spelt Amerli, is a predominantly Shia Turkmen town in Saladin Governorate, Iraq, approximately 100 km from the Iranian border.^[2] It is the centre of a farming region.^[3]
