Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti, AVSM,VM also known as Air Marshal A K Bharti is a senior officer of the Indian Air Force. He is currently the Director General (Air Operations) of the Indian Air Force.[2] He has held this position since 1 October 2024. Prior to this, Bharti was Senior Staff Officer of Central Air Command. He played an important role in Operation Sindoor.[3][4][5]
