Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) is a graduate medical university in Bangladesh.[5] The university, established in 1965. It offers a wide range of academic programs, including Bachelor's, Master's, and postgraduate degrees. These programs encompass BSN, MSN, MPH, MD, MS, PhD, and various diploma degrees. While, the university provides undergraduate BSN and graduate MSN degrees in nursing with its own faculty, the Faculty of Nursing, and various affiliated institutions, such as NIANER.[6] it does not offer undergraduate medical (MBBS) or dental (BDS) degrees.[7][8][9] It also serves as a hospital with 750 beds.[10][11][12]
