Statues of Belinus and Brennius at the Church of St John the Baptist, Bristol

Belinus the Great was a legendary king of the Britons, as recounted by Geoffrey of Monmouth. He was the son of Dunvallo Molmutius and brother of Brennius and came to power in 390 BC.[1] He was probably named after the ancient god Belenus.
