This is a tracking category. It is used to build and maintain lists of pages—primarily for the sake of the lists themselves and their use in article and category maintenance. This category is populated by articles using {{infobox settlement}} with more than one area code in the |area_code= parameter. The usual fix is to change |area_code= to |area_codes= (add an "s" to the parameter name) within the infobox, like this.
