The City of Ipswich is a local government area in Queensland, Australia, located within the southwest of the Brisbane. Situated between the City of Brisbane and Logan City to the west and the Scenic Rim Region to the south, the City also borders the Somerset Region, the Lockyer Valley Region LGAs. City of Ipswich including the urban area surrounding the city of Ipswich and surrounding rural areas.[3][2] In the 2021 census, the City of Ipswich had a population of 229,208 people.[1]
