Darnell Hunt

Darnell Hunt (born 1962) is an American sociologist and academic administrator who is currently the interim chancellor of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His tenure as the interim chancellor began on August 1, 2024. At UCLA, he is a professor of sociology and African American studies and the former director of the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies.
