Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve (Mongolian: Дашзэгвийн Амарбаясгалан, also referred to as Dashzegviin Amarbayasgalan; born on November 27, 1981) is the current Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia following the 2024 elections.[1]
Prior to the parliament, Amarbayasgalan was the Secretary General of the ruling Mongolian People's Party, after the party's landslide victory in the 2016 Mongolian legislative elections. He was elected to an unprecedented fourth term as Secretary General of the Mongolian People’s Party in 2021[2] and is regarded to be next generation of leadership of the country.[3] He is a social democratic,[4] center left and progressive[5] Mongolian politician.
