Hendrikus Wilhelmus Maria "Dick" Schoof[b] (born 8 March 1957) is a Dutch politician and civil servant serving as the prime minister of the Netherlands of the Schoof cabinet since 2 July 2024.[2]

Schoof previously worked as secretary-general of the Ministry of Justice and Security from 2020 to 2024, as director-general of the General Intelligence and Security Service from 2018 to 2020, and as National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism from 2013 to 2018. He was director-general at the Ministry of Justice and Security from 2010 to 2013, and director-general for public order and safety at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations from 2003 to 2010.

On 3 June 2025, Schoof's cabinet collapsed after the Party for Freedom pulled out of the coalition. Schoof announced he would resign as prime minister but, per the King's request,[3] remain as a caretaker until snap elections are held.[4]
