Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU, formerly Donetsk Polytechnic Institute and other names[2]) is the largest and oldest higher education institution established in Donbas, founded in 1921. Since 2024, it has been temporarily located in Drohobych, Lviv Oblast, due to the partial Russian military occupation of Donetsk Oblast since 2014.
