She made history as the first Indian woman to hoist the Indian flag on the highest peak of the continent of Russia and Europe, [2]Mount Elbrus East (5621 meters) and Mount Elbrus West (5642 meters), within 24 hours. Additionally, she became the first woman from abroad to hoist her country's flag on both Mount Kang Yatze (6250 meters) and Mount Jongo (6240 meters) in Ladakh in a duration of 70 hours.
