Isaac Freeman III[1] (born August 6, 1971),[2] better known by his stage name Fatman Scoop, is an American rapper, hype man, and radio personality. Noted for his booming, raw vocal presence on various hip hop songs, he is best known for his guest performances on the 2005 singles "Lose Control" by Missy Elliott and "It's Like That" by Mariah Carey. The songs peaked at numbers three and 16 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100, while the former won the Grammy Award for Best Music Video and received a nomination for Best Rap Song. Prior, his 1999 sleeper hit single, "Be Faithful" (featuring the Crooklyn Clan) entered the Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs charts, and peaked the UK Singles Chart.[3]
