Stacy Ann "Fergie" Ferguson (/ˈfɜːrɡi/ FUR-ghee; born March 27, 1975)[4][5] is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, businesswoman and actress who was a member of the hip hop group the Black Eyed Peas from 2002 to 2018, releasing four albums. She has sold over 35 million albums and 60 million singles worldwide, and is the recipient of eight Grammy Awards and other accolades. Billboard ranked her among the top artists of the 2000s, and in 2010, the same publication named her Woman of the Year.
Before the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie was a member of the girl group Wild Orchid from 1990 to 2001. Her debut studio album, The Dutchess, was released in 2006 to commercial success, peaking at number two on the Billboard 200. Its singles "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Glamorous" and "London Bridge" topped the Billboard Hot 100, while "Clumsy" and "Fergalicious" peaked within the top five. Her second studio album, Double Dutchess, was released in 2017. Its singles "L.A. Love (La La)" and "M.I.L.F. $" appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Charts.
As a child, Fergie starred on the children's television series Kids Incorporated (1982–1987). As an adult, she has appeared in films such as Poseidon (2006), Grindhouse (2007), Nine (2009) and Marmaduke (2010). She launched two footwear lines in 2009, and launched her first fragrance, Outspoken, under Avon in 2010. She has released four more fragrances and several product lines.
