"I'll give you my gun when you pry (or take) it from my cold, dead hands" is a slogan popularized by US organisations opposed to gun control and particularly the National Rifle Association (NRA).[1][2] It, along with "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns", is a slogan that is often used by gun owners and their supporters in criticisms of proposals of gun control in the United States.
