Harumi Klossowska de Rola is a Swiss-based contemporary artist and designer. She was born in 1973, in Geneva,.[1] as the daughter of Balthasar Klossowski de Rola, known as Balthus, a Polish-French modern artist, and Setsuko Klossowska de Rola, a Japanese painter. Harumi spent her early childhood at Villa Medici, the residence of the French Academy in Rome, which was at the time run by her father. In 1977, they moved to Grand Chalet in Rossinière where she still lives with her partner, photographer Benoît Peverelli, their two children, and her mother Setsuko.[2]
