Lieutenant General Jean-Marc Lanthier, CMM, MSM, CD is a retired Canadian Army officer who served as Commander of the Canadian Army from July 2018 to July 2019. He was Vice Chief of the Defence Staff from July 2019 to his announcement of retiring in March 2020.^[1]
