John David Taylor, Baron Kilclooney, PC (NI) (born 24 December 1937) is a Northern Irish unionist politician who was deputy leader of the Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) from 1995 to 2001, and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Strangford from 1983 to 2001. [1] Taylor has sat as a crossbench life peer in the House of Lords since 2001. He was a Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly (MLA) for Strangford from 1998 to 2007.

Taylor also served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Northern Ireland from 1979 to 1989.
