Josh B. Stein

Josh Stein (born May 3, 1973) is an American businessman and venture capitalist. He is a managing partner at Threshold Ventures (formerly DFJ)^[1] and was featured in the Forbes Midas List in 2013, 2014 and 2015 in recognition of his accomplishments as an investor.^[2] He was also the recipient of the 2015 Deloitte Fast 500 Venture Capitalist of the Year award.^[3] Stein holds board responsibilities at Box (company),^[4] Chartbeat,^[5] LaunchDarkley,^[6] LendKey,^[7] Lumity,^[8] and Talkdesk^[9]—and led Box’s first round of institutional investment.^[10] He is also an investor in AngelList,^[11] Doximity,^[12] Front,^[13] Loftium,^[14] Periscope Data^[15] acquired by Sisense,^[16] and Rippling.^[17]
