Korea Communications Commission (Korean: 방송통신위원회; Hanja: 放送通信委員會; RR: Bangsongtongsin Wiwonhoe) is a South Korean media regulation agency modeled after the Federal Communications Commission of the United States of America. It was established on February 29, 2008, combining the former Korean Broadcasting Commission and the Ministry of Information and Communication.^[1] The five members of the Commissioners make a decision.
