Lido Beach (Somali: Xeebta Liido) is a beach in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, which overlooks the Somali Sea. The name (Italian: Lido) derives from the Italian word for "beach". The name Liido is also very popular among locals.^[1]^[2]
