National institutes or central institutes are institutes established by the Government of India and supported by national agencies such as CSIR,[1] ESIC,[2] ICAR,[3] MoHFW,[4] DBT[5] DST,[6] ICMR,[7] DAE,[8] MHRD,[9] MHA[10] etc. including the Institutes of National Importance.
