Makhmur (Arabic: مخمور, romanized: Maẖmūr, Kurdish: مەخموور, romanized: Mexmûr) is a town in Nineveh Governorate,^[1] Iraq. It is situated approximately 60 km southwest of Erbil and 80 km south-east of Mosul.
