Monticello is the largest city in and the county seat of Jasper County, Georgia,[4] United States. The city includes historic buildings such as the Jasper County Courthouse, Monticello High School and the Monticello Historic District. The population was 2,657 at the 2010 census.[5] It is 56 miles (90 km) southeast of Atlanta.
