Nyapathi Subba Rao Pantulu (popularly known as Andhra Bhishma)[1] (14 January 1856 – 15 January 1941) was an Indian politician and social activist who served as a member of the Madras Legislative Council[2] between 1893 and 1909.[3][4][5][6] He was also one of the Triplicane Six, founders of The Hindu,[7] and General Secretary of the Indian National Congress from 1914 to 1917.
