Nan'an (Chinese: 南安; pinyin: Nán'ān; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Lâm-oaⁿ; lit. 'southern peace') is a county-level city of southern Fujian Province, People's Republic of China. It is under the administration of Quanzhou City and as of 2023, had a total population of 1,663,542.^[1][2] More than 4,000,000 overseas Chinese trace their ancestry to Nan'an.^[1]
