Nancy Ellen Cantor (born February 4, 1952)[1] is an American academic administrator who is currently President of Hunter College.

She was previously the chancellor of Rutgers University-Newark, in Newark, New Jersey from 2014 to 2024 and the first woman chancellor at both Syracuse University from 2003 to 2014 and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2001 to 2004.[2][3]
