The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Malay: Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional), abbreviated FINAS, is the central government agency for the film industry of Malaysia.[1][2] Its role is to regulate economic matters related to the film industry in Malaysia. FINAS is similar to the Motion Picture Association of America in the United States. In 2013, the corporation was merged with Filem Negara Malaysia (FNM) to form a sole film agency.[3]
