The Nordic Catholic Church (NCC; Norwegian: den nordisk-katolske kirke), formerly known as the Lutheran Free Synod of Norway,[2] is an Old Catholic church body based in Norway,[1] of high church Lutheran patrimony.[3][4] The Nordic Catholic Church is a member of the Union of Scranton.[4]

Furthermore, the Nordic Catholic Church emphasises in its Statement of Faith that it adheres to its Scandinavian Lutheran heritage to the extent that it has embraced and transmitted the orthodox and catholic faith of the undivided church.
