Pabitra Niraula (Kharel) (Nepali: पवित्रा निरैला खरेल) (born Pabitra Niraula; 3 February 1964)[3] is a Nepali politician and one of only six women MPs to be elected, under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system in the 2017 elections, to the House of representatives of the federal parliament.[4] She is the chair of the Parliamentary International Relations Committee.[5] She is also a member of the National Representation Council and a long time central member of the All Nepal Women Association.

She had joined politics as a freedom fighter while still a student, and was held political prisoner by the state for a time.
