Raoul Robert "Ralph" LaPointe[1] (January 8, 1922 – September 13, 1967) was a professional baseball player. In a playing career that spanned eight teams, ten years, and seven seasons, LaPointe played for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball in 1947, and the St. Louis Cardinals in 1948. He was officially listed as standing 5 feet 11 inches (180 cm) and weighing 185 pounds (84 kg).[2]
