Robert Houston Eggers (born July 7, 1983) is an American filmmaker who has written and directed The Witch (2015), The Lighthouse (2019), The Northman (2022), and Nosferatu (2024). His films blend elements of horror, folklore, and mythology and are noted for maintaining historical authenticity.[1]
