Rome 2020 (Italian: Roma 2020) was a proposed bid for the 2020 Summer Olympics by the city of Rome and the Italian National Olympic Committee.[1] Rome had previously hosted the 1960 Summer Olympics. The bid for the 2020 Games was withdrawn due to the lack of support from the Italian government.[2]
