Saint Joseph Regional High School (known as SJR, St. Joe's or Joe's) is a private, Roman Catholic, college preparatory school for boys, located on a 33-acre (130,000 m2) campus in Montvale, in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school operates under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark.[8] St. Joseph Regional High School was founded in 1962 by the Brothers of Saint Francis Xavier.[9] The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1968.[4]

As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 458 students and 32.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14:1. The school's student body was 59.2% (271) White, 16.4% (75) Hispanic, 12.2% (56) Black, 9.2% (42) two or more races, 2.6% (12) Asian and 0.4% (2) American Indian / Alaska Native.[2] In 2014, St. Joseph Regional High School graduated its 7,000th student.[10]

The St. Joseph curriculum includes honors and Advanced Placement courses, and has college credit courses available through Saint Peter's University in Jersey City, New Jersey.[9]
