Tangariki Reete is an I-Kiribati politician serving as the Speaker of the House of Assembly. She served as a Member of the House of Assembly from 2008 until 2020, during which she also served as the first Minister for Women, Youth and Social Affairs from 2013 until 2016. She was elected as the Speaker on 22 May 2020, beating the previous Speaker, becoming the first female Speaker in Kiribati's history.[1]
