| preseason_number_1 | The team ranked No. 1 in the pre-season AP Poll and/or the team ranked #1 in the Coaches Poll. (only two major polls with a long history which have preseason rankings) | [[2007 Georgia Bulldogs football team|Georgia Bulldogs]] |
