History Template‑class

This template is within the scope of WikiProject History, a collaborative effort to improve the coverage of the subject of History on Wikipedia. Judging from the rarity of edits to this template, it seems likely no one will read this. However, this template needs to be updated.

The problem is that the links have been styled yellow through use of span tags. That means the underlines are the wrong colour. It also makes it very difficult to tell which links have been visited, which don't yet have a page, etc.

If no one objects I think we should turn it into a more standardised grey table with ordinary links. It won't look as fancy, but it'll be more consistent and less buggy.
