Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you.

Information icon Your recent edit appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. —J. M. Information iconPlease read the message above, and please read the first sentence of the List of PDF software article. Do not add external links, it is considered spamming. Thank you.—J. M. (talk) 02:07, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
J. M. (talk) Thanks for the update. I was hoping just to help the community by listing software that I use that is available without first having to do a write-up on the company and then each of their products. I just wanted to help other Macintosh users know other software that is out there.
Question, is it OK for the company to create a page on themselves and their products and then I could add the links on the PDF page?

A company should not create a page on themselves on Wikipedia. See the Conflict of interest guideline. If the company and their product is really notable enough, chances are that someone else will do it, sooner or later, in a neutral manner. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising, marketing, promotion or public relations.—J. M. (talk) 01:58, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
