This is initially specific to the Elvis Presley article. Due to the length and history of the article, it seems the most productive approach to improvement is to go one section at a time. Each week we will work on one section, starting with the first and working our way down the article (the lead will be last). If it is necessary to spend more than one week on a section, then the time will be extended. However, no section shall be given less than a week. This allows editors who may only edit once a week to contribute their ideas and work.

Once Elvis Presley has been improved, the focus will shift to one Elvis-related article per week. The ultimate aim of this project is to improve the quality of Wikipedia's Elvis articles through widespread cooperative editing. It is our hope that some of these will go on to become featured articles.
