In May, Women in Red's geofocus is on women from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. This event is part of the Wikimedia CEE Spring 2024, which includes an additional contest for CEE Women.
Anyone can take part in this event. We hope both inexperienced and seasoned editors will join us in creating biographies and other articles about notable women from or associated with these countries.
This virtual editathon allows enthusiasts wherever they may be to participate in our initiative. Contributors are of course also welcome to add articles on any other women who deserve to be covered, for example under the other topics of the month or our comprehensive #1day1woman priority.
