Yevhen Mykhailovych Konovalets[a] (Ukrainian: Євген Михайлович Коновалець;[1] 14 June 1891 – 23 May 1938) was a Ukrainian military commander and political leader of the Ukrainian nationalist movement.
A veteran of World War I and the Ukrainian-Soviet War, he is best known as the leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) from its 1929 foundation to his assassination in 1938.
