Un turcochipriota (en turco: Kıbrıs Türkleri o Kıbrıslı Türkler; en griego: Τουρκοκύπριοι) es una persona de Chipre que tiene ascendencia turca y/o habla el idioma turco como lengua principal. El artículo 2 de la constitución chipriota indica en su inciso 2 que «la comunidad turca comprende a todos los ciudadanos de la República que son de origen turco y cuya lengua materna es el turco, que comparten las tradiciones culturales turcas o que son musulmanes».[19]​ Según el Censo de 2006, se estimaba que había 145.443 chipriotas que reclamaban la herencia turca en toda la isla de Chipre.[20]
