Hiposentrum

Hiposentrum dari bahasa Yunani Kuno ὑπόκεντρον (hupόkentron), berarti "di bawah pusat") adalah titik pusat gempa bumi atau ledakan nuklir bawah tanah, dikenal juga dengan istilah fokus.^[1] Di luar seismologi, istilah hiposentrum dapat digunakan untuk menyebut ground zero, titik lokasi terjadinya ledakan nuklir
