"Angola Avante!" (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɐ̃.ˈgɔ.ɫɐ‿ɐ.ˈvɐ̃.tɨ]; "Forward Angola!") is the national anthem of Angola. Manuel Rui Alves Monteiro wrote the words. Rui Alberto Vieira Dias Mingas wrote the music.
It was started in 1975 after independence from Portugal.
